In primary statistics "Statistics at a Glance: The Burden of Cancer in the United States" posted on Cancer.gov, The National Cancer Institute (NCI) reported that:
Although death rates for many individual cancer types have also declined, rates for a few cancers have stabilized or even increased. As the overall cancer death rate has declined, the number of cancer survivors has increased. |
That means, more or less, medical science is a miracle to a lot of people and it brings humans' lives huge benefits.
However, fake news, false information or rumors, unverified news have been and are going to kill a lot of individuals who believe in them. In spite of "the number of cancer survivors has increased", NCI still warns that "In 2018, an estimated 1,735,350 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States and 609,640 people will die from the disease." And Tech companies, online platforms have been and are killing themselves and people (their billions of users)...voluntarily! In simple words, Tech companies can NOT understand and see huge dangers of fake news, false information that have been causing bad consequences and damages. And this kind of fake news, false information is hidden and it really causes mass killings. Although online platforms (powerful tools) help and bring people many benefits, they have been helping toxic information kill people...all over the world. How? According to National Cancer Institute:
Although chemotherapy can cause different side effects, if without this important type of cancer treatment, how can we have the result of "the number of cancer survivors has increased"?

Hidden Mass Killings1. When someone (especially cancer patients who have chemotherapy) searches information about "chemotherapy" on Google, they will see about 39,900,000 results and the 'People Also Ask' (Related Questions-PAAs) boxes like this: Google will show 39,900,000 web pages containing information about chemo and first pages, especially the first one, are always most read. One question: How many searches for the keyword "chemotherapy" on Google per month? Google (Adwords) gives us a clear number: The number is 201,000. 2. If only 1% of 201,000 searches is the number of cancer patients, then we have 2,010 ones who certainly want to find out more information about chemo treatments. The next calculation: if only 5% of cancer patients (among 2,010 ones) pays attention to the question "Can you die while getting chemotherapy?" and decides to see its answer suggested by Google, what answer will an estimated 100 people (2,010x5%) with their inside malign tumors receive? If the answer (given by cancer specialist professor, Dr., MDs) can make a person with a normal health feel so confused or even feel horrible, how will people who are suffering most pains from malign tumors feel after reading the following affirmations:
I'm sure most cancer patients will want to refuse or stop their chemo treatments right after reading the above affirmations because they think chemotherapy is an extreme poison that is trying to kill them instead of saving them. Even though fact checker organizations (such as Snopes.com, NPR.org or FactCheck.org which are directly combatting fake news, false information and working with Google, Facebook) can check and conclude that the above affirmations are false, who do cancer patients believe in: professional doctors or those fact checkers?
Fake news, false and toxic information are being nourished kindly! There might be hundreds of thousands or millions of websites that also have the same conclusion "Put simply, chemotherapy is an intravenously administered poison that kills all living matter" When a web page is on the first page of Google and the best, if it is ranked number 1 or 2 or 3 or if it appears inside the box "People Also Ask" on Google, what does it mean? It means: That web page can attract a lot of people who search for a specific keyword. That also means the web page is strongly trusted and supported by Google. That's why Google ranked it at the highest positions. That page will attract a lot of Google users to its website. Wonderfully, that web page with its highest position doesn't need any Google ad to attract users. This is not over yet.
Google said "When a user asks a question in Google Search, we might show a search result in a special featured snippet block at the top of the search results page. This featured snippet block includes a summary of the answer, extracted from a web page, plus a link to the page, the page title and URL". Simpler, to Google, if a web page with its information is considered to be the best answer for a specific question asked by Google's users, Google will consider it the "most useful snippet" (Google's words) and will prioritize it and make it get 'Featured Snippets' that help that web page attract more visitors.
If someone wants to continue searching more information about "Can you die while getting chemotherapy?" or "can chemotherapy lead to death" on Google, they will see the strongest support of the Tech giant for web pages containing answers:
Obviously, the site which concluded "Put simply, chemotherapy is an intravenously administered poison that kills all living matter. Repeated chemotherapy and repeated radiation treatments kill the whole body by degrees" reached the highest position on Google when people search for the keyword "can chemotherapy lead to death". 'More wonderful', it has double benefits when Google gives it "Featured Snippets" right above the 1st position. In this case, the site doesn't need to buy ads from Google to get a lot of visitors to its website.
The Featured Snippets and PAAs ("People Also Ask" Boxes) in this case are the strongest support of the search engine for the page.
At present, there are 70 searches for the keyword "Can chemotherapy lead to death?" per month.
So, the 'best answer' that cancer patients receive on Google when asking (typing) "can chemotherapy lead to death?" is...
If they want to find out more information, they can click on a link below the short answer, and the same as people who search for the keyword "chemotherapy", they also receive the same answers (strong affirmations) given by most of the doctors.
While National Cancer Institute firmly suggests "It is best not to skip a chemotherapy treatment"; while chemotherapy is one of the main treatments for patients all over the world, the above answers are not considered true officially and it (false information) did kill and is killing many patients who believe "Chemo kills people" is true. These patients, because of huge fears, either refused or stopped their chemotherapy. This has made their serious disease get worse and deaths are an unavoidable thing.
Tech companies which are trying hard to combat fake news, false and toxic information don't know that fake news, unverified and false information can be hidden and can destroy humans' lives from deep inside their platforms. Tech companies and Governments are mostly paying much attention to 'loud' news that people can be aware of. They don't know and realise there has been countless fake news, false information that is 'quiet' and it is damaging society and killing lives...daily, even hourly!
No gun, no bullets, but one keyword kills at least thousands of patientsEach month, there are 201,000 searches for the keyword "chemotherapy" and 70 ones for "can chemotherapy lead to death?". From 201,000 searches for "chemotherapy", we have an estimated 100 people with their inside malign tumors who will pay attention to the question "Can you die while getting chemotherapy?" and decide to see its answer suggested by Google. Now if 20 of 100 patients (20%) refuse or stop chemo treatments because of their fear and depression, we will have 20 cancer patients who will have to be faced with deaths each month!
Searches are each month. Therefore, in one year, we have (20 patients x 12 months) 240 people who will die (in the near future) because of avoiding the important type of cancer treatment. So, the keyword "chemotherapy" can lead hundreds of people with cancer to the deadly ground...each year. However, it's just the beginning.
Remember, from the start, I just gave "If only 1% of 201,000 searches is the number of cancer patients" In reality, the percentage is absolutely much higher. Why?
Who mostly care about "chemotherapy" and "can chemotherapy lead to death?" and search this keyword on Google to find out more information? Dr. Ranjana Srivastava, an oncologist, said {"If you are a cancer patient, or care for someone with the illness, this is something you might have thought about. “How do people die from cancer?” is one of the most common questions asked of Google}.
Now, if 5% of 201,000 searches is the number of cancer patients", we have 10,050 people and just 5% of them - (10,050*5%) 502 ones - will pay attention to the question "Can you die while getting chemotherapy?" and decide to see its answer suggested by Google. With the same percentage 20% of 502 cancer patients who read answers from the web page suggested by Google, it’s about 100 ones per month who will have to be faced with deaths because of refusing or stopping chemotherapy.
The TruthNow, you will see that just with one keyword "chemotherapy", in one year we have (100 patients x 12 months) 1200 people will be faced with deaths because of getting rid of this important type of cancer treatment.
Chemotherapy may not save all cancer patients and NCI also said: "Since everyone is different and people respond to chemotherapy in different ways". According to cancerresearchuk.org, "Some cancers are very sensitive to chemotherapy. So it can work very well for them. But some types of cancer don't tend to respond well to chemotherapy. In that case, your doctor isn't likely to suggest it as a treatment for you.." Therefore, the conclusion "chemotherapy is an intravenously administered poison that kills all living matter" is an absolutely false thing because it does NOT reflect the reality. In fact, when it's too late, even if a cancer patient tries to have chemo (while he or she lets his/her disease get worse and worse [for example, he/she didn't take enough actions such as treating disease as soon as possible, ignoring their disease or refusing chemo earlier...), death is imminent. 'Killing Leverage'
Only one keyword "chemotherapy" can kill at least 1,200 cancer patients in one year. What if:
Absolutely, millions of people with cancer in the world will be killed quietly and hiddenly by fake news, false information (NOT chemotherapy!).
Remember, until now, I have just mentioned one topic of cancer (chemo) and cancer is just one of a lot of different diseases humans are fighting against. Politics, health are just two of many different fields of life and society. That means we are being faced with countless hidden fake news and false information that cannot be aware of and they can cause worst consequences. How can people (especially huge Tech companies and governments) solve the serious problem of fake news successfully while they are just struggling to combat things they can see and skip invisible ones? Fake and false news affects all aspects. Destructions have been happening deeply inside online platforms and unfortunately, these biggest platforms have been taking good care of toxic information together!
Deadly ConnectionsAmazon, one of the biggest online retailers, is also being faced with a different kind of false information: fake reviews. Because of "On Amazon, customer comments can help a product surge in popularity", merchants buy fake reviews to boost sales of their products on this platform. “These days it is very hard to sell anything on Amazon if you play fairly,” said Tommy Noonan, who operates ReviewMeta, a website that helps consumers spot suspicious Amazon reviews. “If you want your product to be competitive, you have to somehow manufacture reviews." reported The Washington Post."It’s well-documented that consumers rely heavily on online reviews in making buying decisions. The majority tend to trust them unless there are no critical reviews present." According to Local Consumer Review Survey in 2017:
Forbes.com commented: "Despite Amazon's moves to prevent people gaming its review system, there's been a massive up-tick in the number of fraudulent reviews on the site, according to a recent study." Politics, health and e-commerce are just three among many different fields that have been envenomed by fake news, false and toxic information. These kinds of information have been and are killing people every day and damaging people's lives all over the world. Unfortunately, there are 'mass killings' and damages that are hidden and these mass killings and damages have been kindly supported by most advanced tech and science.
To online business, customers are being cheated by merchants who spend their money on buying fake reviews and... "Many of these fraudulent reviews originate on Facebook, where sellers seek shoppers on dozens of networks, including Amazon Review Club and Amazon Reviewers Group, to give glowing feedback in exchange for money or other compensation. The practice artificially inflates the ranking of thousands of products, experts say, misleading consumers." said Washingtonpost.com "In February, there were nearly 100 Facebook groups, split up by geographic region and by product categories, in which Amazon merchants actively solicited consumers to write paid reviews. One such group had over 50,000 Facebook members until Facebook deleted it after The Post’s inquiry. There are also Reddit boards and YouTube tutorials that coach people on how to write reviews. Websites with names such as Slickdeals and JumpSend let merchants give out discounted products, using a loophole to get around Amazon’s ban."
Online platforms have been deeply exploited to amplify bad things and damage as well as make people hurt and dead. They, paid Amazon reviewers, are "part of an extensive, invisible workforce fueling a review-fraud economy that persists in every corner of the largest marketplace on the internet. Drawn in by easy money and free stuff, they’ve seeded Amazon with fake five-star reviews of LED lights, dog bowls, clothing, and even health items like prenatal vitamins - all meant to convince you that this product is the best and bolster the sales of profiteers hoping to grab a piece of the Amazon Gold Rushe" (Buzzfeed). In the fight against fake reviews "Amazon is all but powerless to stop it" said Buzzfeed News.
Back to the topic of chemotherapy, Google is not the only place where fake news, toxic information is being nourished. The internet is connections.
How can Facebook, Google, Amazon, Twitter, Bing and others fight against hidden toxic information, fake news, fake reviews and how can they stop their platforms from helping that information hurt and destroy lives, while they still cannot deal with visible fake news and let these kinds of information trap and control them? How can they, Tech giants, deal with fake news and hope to make people well-being while their platforms are still sinking in old fake and false information?
Old Rumor, New DeathsWhen I typed "chemo" and "chemotherapy" in Facebook's search bar, it automatically showed me some related topics such as:
Next, I clicked on "chemotherapy kills people" and Facebook showed me most results relating to an old video "published to YouTube under the title “Chemotherapy Does NOT Work 97% of the Time and Kills 97% of the Time,” a five-minute clip featuring a conversation between an interviewer and naturopathic physician Peter Glidden (in which the latter misrepresented a study to claim that “chemotherapy kills an average 97% of cancer patients”) and cited the work of a Dr. Hardin Jones" (watch the video here) The same as the answer for "can chemotherapy lead to death?" on Google, the videos re-posted by different Facebook accounts gave the same conclusion: chemo kills people (not cancer)! A video posted on June 25, 2017, has had more than 20,200 views. If only 1% of 20,200 views is the number of cancer patients who watched it, it is 202 people. If 20% among 202 ones who believe in “Chemotherapy Does NOT Work 97% of the Time and Kills 97% of the Time” and "the only reason chemotherapy is used, it's because doctors make money from it" (mentioned in the video), how many patients can be killed because of refusing or stopping chemo treatment? About 40 (202*2%). And this is not over yet.
On Youtube, a video titled "Chemotherapy Does NOT Work 97% of The Time and Kills 97% of The Time" posted on May 6, 2014, has had more than 322,800 views so far. With the same calculations, If only 1% of 322,800 views is the number of cancer patients, it's about 645 people who can be killed because of fear and refusing chemo treatments. So, there are (40+645) 685 patients killed just by two videos containing false information "Chemotherapy Does NOT Work 97% of The Time and Kills 97% of The Time"!. Although Snopes.com, 'the oldest and largest fact-checking site on the Internet', checked and affirmed the information "Chemotherapy Does NOT Work 97% of The Time and Kills 97% of The Time" was false on 28 June 2016, two above videos (among a lot of same videos with false info posted on Facebook and Youtube a few years ago) have been still killing many people directly or indirectly.
Even worse: The number of killed cancer patients is absolutely much higher because:
A lot of same videos appear on Google
The situation will get much worse when videos with false information also appear on other online platforms like Bing, a web search engine owned and operated by MicrosoftThe video on Bing with more than 646,000 views This time, with 646,000 views, 1% of those views (6460 patients) and 20% of 6460 ones (1292) can be killed by false information contained in this video. Just with 3 videos among a lot of same videos, we have (40+ 645 + 1292) 1977 cancer patients killed by fake news and toxic information. Again, more videos, more views, more deaths. Same videos appear on Bing
Not everyone can see and read fact-checkers' articles that corrected false information and organizations like Snopes can NOT detect and correct all information on every aspect of life all over the internet. According to a statistic reported by microfocus.com, "Each minute of every day the following happens on the internet":
As I said, online platforms have been sinking in old rumors, fake news, false information. And new one is being continuously created...every minute. The above videos with false information of chemotherapy are being still spread over the internet and supported strongly by online platforms. In the war against fake news, false information, Tech giants are trapping themselves and killing themselves (as well as their users).
Tech giants are trapping themselves... The more Tech companies with their online platforms delay fighting against fake news or the more wrong or useless solutions they use, they will kill many more humans and they themselves will have to pay the highest prices because of their heavy social responsibilities. When the unbearable aftermath comes, governments and their people will also have to suffer worst consequences. Lives of cancer patients in particular and people in general are being affected seriously by online information. How can people avoid bad consequences if hidden damages and especially hidden mass killings cannot be seen and aware of? A lot of patients did refuse and stop chemo treatments because false information over the internet made them think they were being killed by all of those treatments. However, these people were or will be killed because their health was or will be damaged by their fear and depression. Stopping treatments and doing nothing means most of them gave up and accepted deaths. It's not over yet and the problem will worsen when false and fake news about chemo kills cancer patients by influencing on other people and then these people, unintentionally or intentionally, affect cancer patients badly. Indirect KillingFrom the beginning, I just gave "If only 1% of 201,000 searches is the number of cancer patients", what about the rest (99% of those searches)? Can people who are not patients kill cancer patients unintentionally or intentionally when they search for the keyword "chemotherapy" on Google? "Chemo kills not cancer" or same sentences are a prejudice that harms or kills patients. Of course, this prejudice can affect their survival choices. Among 201,000 searches for the keyword "chemotherapy", many searches are of parents, friends or colleagues of cancer patients. These people also want to find out more information about chemo treatments in order for them to take good care of patients. Of course, when searching for that keyword, the same as cancer patients, they also see the question "Can you die while getting chemotherapy?" and a lot of people will want to know the answer suggested by Google. What will happen when parents, friends, colleagues who are taking care of their cancer patients read and believe in affirmations "...patients are as well, or better off untreated." or "Chemotherapy is an invasive and toxic treatment able supposedly to eliminate cancer cells...Put simply, chemotherapy is an intravenously administered poison that kills all living matter" given by professional doctors? In reality, there were parents who refused or stopped their children's chemo treatments because they believed that chemotherapy was extremely toxic and they believed their children would be killed by those treatments. Chemotherapy may not save all patients. But at least it can save many lives or prolong the life of cancer patients and it brings them hope and survival opportunities; Otherwise, fake and false information (about chemo) makes them lose hope at all and give up survival chances... |
Dead End? "A global war against fake news is raging, and the U.S. - at the center of the mayhem - is being swallowed by it. Tech giants are creating new policies, but fake news still persists. Regulators want them to do better, but they're nowhere near a concrete policy of their own." (Axios.com) These companies are overwhelmed by subtle tricks that surpass the abilities of theirs Fake Obama created using AI video tool - BBC News When fake news, disinformation, hate speech, propaganda, rumors are visible, in front of their eyes, they still can't deal with those evil things. So, how can they (Tech giants) solve fake news, disinformation, etc...that is obscured? According to cjr.org's report "Fact-checking groups working to debunk hoaxes and conspiracy theories in India say the spread of misinformation is increasingly happening on WhatsApp rather than Facebook or Twitter, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. “More than 90 percent of the stuff we are debunking is on WhatsApp,” said Govindraj Ethiraj, a journalist and founder of a fact-checking group called Boom. And because WhatsApp allows for anonymous accounts and uses end-to-end encryption, it can be almost impossible to determine where a rumor or hoax originated or how it spread so widely." WhatsApp, a messaging and Voice over IP (VoIP) service owned by Facebook "is a fast, simple and reliable way to talk to anyone in the world. More than 1 billion people in over 180 countries use WhatsApp to stay in touch with friends and family, anytime and anywhere." told Facebook. {"A recent Washington Post article says many political activists in India are concerned the spread of fake news and hate speech on WhatsApp is affecting not just recent elections but could impair the very functioning of democratic society. "It is getting out of hand, and WhatsApp doesn't know what to do about it," said Nikhil Pahwa, a digital rights activist. "The difficulty with WhatsApp is that it's impossible to know how this information is spreading."} Because the app is encrypted. "It is difficult to do policing on WhatsApp because every content on the platform is encrypted and one cannot know about the source of origin of a message or the number of times it was shared." said financialexpress.com. That means fake news, rumors, disinformation, etc...are FREELY spread over this platform and Facebook is incapable of detecting them. To fight against fake news, "In a statement, Facebook Canada said the company has 10,000 people working on “safety and security globally,” and plans to double that number to 20,000." If the company can hire tens of thousands of staffs who work on “safety and security globally", how can they do that to this WhatsApp's serious problem? |
Take Actions Now Or Suffer Worst Consequences With consecutive letters that I sent to people who are responsible for solving the most serious problems of fake news, I have tried to inform people of an unbearable aftermath caused by fake news, false information. Perhaps, as usual, they will wait until the aftermath comes and then, take actions when it's too late. Follow my last suggestion or accept my special challenge because if you don't act soon:
Tech giants and Governments will have to be faced with responsibilities for society's damages and lives lost if without a correct solution and if the aftermath occurs. If anyone among them thinks that solving fake news, disinformation, false info as well as fake reviews will take a lot of time and they don't want to take (right) actions as soon as possible; if they think they can accept bad consequences in settling fake news problems and ignore people's pains and deaths, that means they are allowing fake news and false information to kill as many as people as possible. People's lives can NOT wait to be preserved. Cancer patients can NOT wait to have chemotherapy because if it's too late, if their disease gets much worse and they have metastatic cancer, their health will be impaired and death is imminent. CNN reported "overdose deaths from prescription and illicit opioids have doubled over the past six years alone -- from 21,089 deaths across the nation in 2010 to 42,249 in 2016." According to buzzfeed.com, FDA chief Scott Gottlieb "named names "Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Google, Yahoo, and Bing" - in his remarks, decrying how they have failed to police illicit sales of opioid drugs. With fentanyl, an opioid 50 times more potent than heroin, now turning up widely in Drug Enforcement Administration seizures of overseas mail containing narcotics, Gottlieb warned that internet firms are facilitating sales and shipments by "Bitcoin, Western Union, MoneyGram, PayPal, credit cards, and even prepaid gift cards"} To this matter of overdose deaths, is it a right thing if solving fake news, disinformation and toxic information by having a great number of people/staffs who have to see and check everything posted or uploaded to platforms each minute? McKinley asked Facebook CEO when his platform was going to take down posts that were done with illegal digital pharmacies. If Facebook, Google, Twitter, Amazon, Bing, other online platforms and Governments still can't solve fake news, fake reviews and false information in the soonest time, this will make the number of hurt or killed people increase and the unbearable aftermath come faster. Therefore, a correct solution is a vital and urgent thing now to stop or prevent worst consequences. How to know what solution is correct and effective? There are two ways to know that. |
Follow My Last Suggestion or Accept My Challenge First, how is the fight against fake news, false and toxic information at present? According to The Verge "There are three specific goals of the Google News Initiative: highlight accurate journalism while fighting misinformation, particularly during breaking news events; help news sites continue to grow from a business perspective and create new tools to help journalists do their jobs. Google is serious about supporting these goals, too, pledging to invest $300 million over the next three years." "What's Facebook's Strategy for Stopping False News?" In an official post on Facebook Newsroom, the giant planned "strategy to stop misinformation on Facebook" with 3 following major tasks. In 'reducing the spread of false news and inauthentic content', Facebook explained "A lot of the misinformation that spreads on Facebook is financially motivated, much like email spam in the 90s. If spammers can get enough people to click on fake stories and visit their sites, they’ll make money off the ads they show. By making these scams unprofitable, we destroy their incentives to spread false news on Facebook" Most tech companies will use AI (artificial intelligence) to fight against fake news and false information "Satya Nadella-led tech giant Microsoft is developing artificial intelligence-programme to tackle fake news on its search platform Bing and professional-social network LinkedIn, a report by news agency IANS stated", according to Techcircle. Can those above solutions help them and people distinguish between fake news and real one, solve the problem to every roots as they wish? "The walls are closing in on tech giants" (Axios.com) Certainly, many more lives (especially of cancer patients) will be lost during the next three years if waiting for Google's finished jobs whose effectiveness Google itself doesn't even know exactly. How can Facebook solve the problem if just focusing on "By making these scams unprofitable, we destroy their incentives to spread false news on Facebook"? A lot of videos with false information "Chemotherapy Does NOT Work 97% of The Time and Kills 97% of The Time" have been re-uploaded, shared and spread over platforms (not only on Facebook) by people who didn't even have any financial purpose. Many shared those videos just because they thought the info was correct and believed in the doctor's words in the video and just let others know about it. Obviously, Facebook cannot "destroy" (their word) invisible fake, false news causing hidden damages as they said. AI can be an important support that can help Tech companies solve something in the fight against fake news, false and toxic information, but it will NEVER be a correct answer to the problem. The biggest Tech companies such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Bing are struggling to combat or destroy what, at the same time, they are kindly 'nourishing'. They are being attacked by not only present and future 'enemies' but the past one (fake news, toxic information that was created and spread over their platforms a long time ago) as well. What does that mean? The worst dangers and damages are going to happen to these companies and their users. While they cannot solve current (lastest) fake news that is being created and spread daily, how can they deal with countless invisible one (like the false information about chemotherapy) they cannot realise? That also means the more they (especially tech companies and governments) become powerless to stop fake news, the more time they spend, the more lives we lose and the more damages society suffers.
Therefore, to stop fake news, false and toxic information from harming and killing people daily, follow my suggestion. This is the last suggestion of mine. People out there can NOT WAIT six months, one year, two years or a longer time for Tech platforms in hopelessness. When the unbearable aftermath occurs, consequences are for not only Tech giants, Governments but their people as well. Their lives are being attacked, damaged and killed by toxic information daily, not monthly or yearly! Tech companies and Governments have been faced with the problem of fake news since US Election 2016 and until now, they still haven't found a correct way to end the fake news war. Once the problem couldn't be solved, it "grew worse than ever." (Gizmodo.com) If Tech companies and/or Governments want to solve the most serious problems they are being faced with, they can either follow my suggestion or accept my following challenge as soon as possible. How can Tech companies and Governments know whether my solution (for solving fake news, false information) is correct, effective or not? Just accept my challenge. Know, check and confirm it (my solution) and its results. In other words, if they want to know how to solve and stop fake news killing people daily, prevent them from harming and destroying society, follow my last suggestion or accept my following challenge! |
Either Follow The Last Suggestion Fake news has been rising since US Election 2016. The problem has grown worse. It has been nearly 5 months since I gave suggestions (in my previuos letters) to people involved in the fight against fake news, disinformation. Because false information and fake news is hurting and killing people daily, the following suggestion is the last one in effort to stop toxic information causing traumas and deaths. Invisible fake news is being still 'nourished' and hidden damages, deaths are still occurring every day while people (especially Tech companies, Governments) are not aware of those things. In short, Tech companies and or Governments (which are being faced with the serious problem), any, if wanting to have a solution and correct answer to the problem, solve fake and false news, disinformation, stop consequences, let me do it by:

When it's late, there'll be things that can't be saved or cured. One thing that will be never saved or cured is lost lives. Gizmodo.com said "Years ago, Facebook fired its Trending News team and replaced them with algorithm after a Gizmodo article featured former workers claiming the site discriminated against conservative news. Then, Facebook tried and failed to suppress hoax news sites and propaganda with a series of methods designed to avoid the ire of conservatives, like third-party fact checkers and yet more algorithms. In the meantime, its so-called “fake news” problem grew worse than ever." As I said in the previous letter: Not caring enough about the problems, Delaying or Doing nothing, Using wrong or useless solutions will make the problems get worse, make the aftermath come faster and make more people injured and dead. There're fierce efforts that become useless when the time is late. A clear example is the final stages of cancer. If someone does nothing to cure their disease or ignore it, when it's late, what will happen? If only one keyword can kill thousands of lives, how about thousands or hundreds of thousands of different keywords (or even more) searched on the internet daily? Chemotherapy is just a mere example that shows hidden damages caused by fake news and false information. There might be hundreds of thousands or millions of same web pages that are still spreading the false information about chemo over the internet. The same thing, there are a lot of websites that re-uploaded and shared the rival video "Chemotherapy Does NOT Work 97% of The Time and Kills 97% of The Time". The oldest video (as I see on Bing) was published six years ago and has had more than 653,000 views (counted on June 4, 2018). If only 2% of these views is the number of cancer patients, how many ones who can be killed can you count? After reading this post, Tech companies may remove that information and videos, but consequences fake news caused will still exist and lives lost cannot be saved. Therefore, either follow my last suggestion in the soonest time or accept my challenge. Otherwise, people who are nourishing fake news kindly on their platforms will have to pay the highest price because of their heavy social responsibilities... Of course, when the aftermath comes, others also can't avoid worst things. Finally, do you really want to take actions, save lives and make people "well-being" as soon as possible ...or do you want to see Human History and The World will continuously prove my words and affirmations correct and true as usual? |

P.S. This letter especially helps cancer patients have a correct thought on chemotherapy.
Even if "Chemotherapy...kills all living matter" and same conclusions were real, they MUST be proved true all over the world.
Therefore, "Chemotherapy...kills all living matter" and same conclusions like "the only reason chemotherapy is used, it's because doctors make money from it" are evil prejudices that can kill these patients before they are cured.
So please share this letter as many as you can because it can help cancer patients have a bright choice to prolong or save their valuable lives.
